May they all be one- John 17:21

Mt 14: 13-21

For three weeks, I have been struggling to make sense out of this passage of the Gospel about the “miracle of the multiplication of the bread.” Maybe because I have little faith.  There are two accounts of the multiplications of the loaves in the Gospel of Matthew. (Mt 14: 13-21 and Mt 15: 32-39).

(Mt 13: 44-52)

Today we are going to meditate on the last three parables of the Kingdom in the gospel of Matthew. (Mt 13). The first parable is about a person who, upon finding a treasure buried in a field, sells everything he owns and buys the field.  Why does he have to buy the field? In the Jewish Law, whatever is on the land is the property of the owner.

Some NGOs have started clamouring for the legalization of abortion as part of what is called Sexual and Reproductive Health bill. In view of this they have been advocating for condom use, the morning-after pill for young girls, for the legalization of the so-called sex-work, and recognition of the so-called sex-workers without being stigmatized.
